‘Literacy for Life’ in Havana to participate in the International Convention ‘Pedagogy 2025’

Havana, February 12, 2025. Representatives of the Australian organisation ‘Literacy for Life’ arrived in Havana to participate in the International Convention ‘Pedagogy 2025’ to be held in that city between 11 and 14 January 2025.

At the event, they will present their experiences with the application of the Cuban Method ‘Yo Si Puedo’ in the literacy of Australian indigenous communities for more than 12 years.

Canberra, 11 February 2025. This afternoon the Cuban Ambassador to Australia congratulated her Serbian counterpart in Canberra for the National Day of that country.

During the meeting she conveyed greetings from the Cuban people and government to her counterpart in that Australian city.

ACT Minister for Arts and Multilateral Affairs visits the Cuban stand at the Canberra Multicultural Festival.

Canberra, 10 February 2025. During his tour of the Festival, ACT Minister for Arts and Multilateral Affairs Michael Pattersson visited the Cuban exhibition and exchanged with the Cuban Ambassador to Australia about the cultural traditions of the largest of the Antilles.

In a festive atmosphere, Minister Pattersson was interested in the different cultural traditions on display and learned from the Ambassador's explanations about different aspects of Cuban history and culture as well as Caribbean traditions.

Cuban Ambassador greets her Iranian counterpart on the National Day.

Canberra, 10 February 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated in the celebration of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

During the event she conveyed greetings to her Iranian counterpart on behalf of the Cuban government and people.
