Australia-Cuba Friendship Society issues statement in support of Cuba and against the blockade

Canberra, 27 March 2024. The Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) issued a statement in support of the Cuban Revolution and its people in the face of the destabilizing attempts of the United States government. 

The statement expresses a firm rejection of the blockade against Cuba and the immoral inclusion of the Island in the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

Cuba Solidarity Association in Perth issues statement and condemns the blockade 

 

Perth, March 25, 2024. The Perth branch of the Asutralian Cuba Friendship Society, issued today a statement against the Blockade and in support of the Cuban Revolution and its people, in the face of the destabilizing attempts of the United States. 

The statement expresses a firm rejection to the inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism and supports the Cuban people in their struggle to maintain their independence and sovereignty.

Cuban Ambassador receives GRULAC Ambassadors and Director of Latin America and her team from the Australian Foreign Affairs Department

Canberra, March 22, 2024. At the Cuban Embassy in Canberra, the Cuban Ambassador received this Friday afternoon Ambassador Diana Nelson, who serves as Director of Latin America of the Australian Foreign Ministry. The meeting was also attended by members of the DFAT Latin America team, as well as the new Chair of the Board of COALAR and the Latin American Ambassadors accredited to Australia.

Cuban Ambassador receives Chargé d'Affaires of Venezuela in Australia

Canberra, March 21, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, received this afternoon the Chargé d'Affaires of Venezuela in Australia, Luis Laya, on his arrival to the southern country.

During the fraternal meeting, the diplomats discussed the close ties of friendship that exist between the Cuban and Venezuelan peoples and reaffirmed the commitment to the development and strengthening of bilateral ties. 

The Cuban diplomat welcomed and wished them success in their management.
