Cuban Ambassador participates in Dialogue with Australian Climate Change Minister

Canberra, 20 November 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Australian capital participated in a dialogue with the Australian Minister for Climate Change Chris Bowen, at the Australian Foreign Ministry.

During the exchange, the main elements of interest of Australia for the next COP 28 to be held in the United Arab Emirates were discussed.

At the event the Ambassador thanked the organizers, in particular, Ambassador Krinstin Tilley for the invitation.

Canberra 16 November 2023. The Cuban Ambassador in Canberra today participated in the event "Emerging from darkness" hosted by the Timor Leste Embassy in Australia.
The event highlighted the achievements of medical cooperation between Cuba and Timor Leste and detailed elements of the Australian ophthalmological cooperation programme in the Pacific.

Cuba participates in Latin American Gastronomic Festival in Canberra

Canberra, 16 November 2023. During this afternoon, the Latin American Embassies accredited in Australia in coordination with the Australian University "CIT", held the Latin American Gastronomic Festival.

The event brought together businessmen, parliamentarians, and other personalities of the Australian culture and society who were able to taste the traditional recipes of each of the Latin American countries as part of the culture of our continent.

Cuban Ambassador participates in event for the Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People in the Australian Parliament

Canberra, 15 November 2023. The Cuban Ambassador participated today in the event hosted by the Parliamentary Group for ASmistad with Palestine at the Australian Parliament.

During the event, the Ambassador exchanged with several of those present and ratified on behalf of the Cuban people and government the unwavering support of Cuba to the cause of the Palestinian people and the most unrestricted solidarity in these moments of serious damage and harm against these brotherly people.

Cuban Ambassador participates in Women Ambassadors' Event on Gender Equality.

Canberra, 15 November 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba participated in a meeting of women Ambassadors to share experiences on Gender Equality, hosted by the Embassy of the Philippines in this capital.

The event was an opportunity to present Cuba's progress in this area, in particular with the approval of the new Family Code.
