Townsville, August 4, 2023. During this weekend, the Afrekete 2023 Cultural Festival took place. The event counted with the participation of Cuban artists living in Australia who came together to perform different Cuban dance and music numbers.
Melbourne, August 1, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador and young Cubans on tour in Australia undertook a program of activities with the Construction Workers Union (CFMEU), Victoria branch. The program included a visit to the public transport expansion works being carried out in the city of Melbourne, as well as exchanges with workers.

Likewise, the scientist Marianniz Díaz made a dissertation on Cuba's achievements in confronting Covid-19. For her part, the Cuban Ambassador referred to the process followed for the approval of the Family Code and its advanced content.
