Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Trade Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Trade of Australia

Canberra. August 14, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in this capital exchanged this morning with Ken Gordon, advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Trade Don Farrel. During the meeting, she extended an invitation to the Australian authorities to participate in the XXXIX Edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2023, to be held next November. 

The meeting was propitious to exchange issues of common interest as well as on the existing potentialities to develop and strengthen the bilateral relationship between both nations. 

Young Cubans tour of Australia culminates in the city of Perth

Perth, August 14, 2023. The tour of the young Cubans Marianniz Díaz, scientist of the Center for Molecular Immunology, and Iván Barreto, specialist of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the peoples culminated in the city of Perth, one of the most western of the Australian geography. 

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament receives Ambassador of Cuba

Canberra, August 11, 2023. The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament today received the Cuban Ambassador to Australia. 

During the exchange, the diplomat thanked the parliamentarian for her work in her capacity as President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba, as well as Australia's position against the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed against Cuba. 

Young Cubans touring Australia program continues in Adelaide

Adelaide, August 11, 2023.  Young Cubans Marianniz Díaz and Iván Barreto undertook an intense program in the Australian city of Adelaide. During the last two days, they have been able to visit sites and institutions of social impact in Adelaide. Of special importance was the visit to the Romero community, a social project that serves disadvantaged people, people with disabilities, and the aboriginal population.
