CPA statement in solidarity with Cuba: United around the world against the criminal US Blockade on Cuba!

New South Wales, 23 June, 2023. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia, issued a statement of solidarity with Cuba, yesterday. The document calls for the lifting of the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade measures imposed by the United States Government against the Cuban people and government for more than six decades. Cuban Ambassador to Australia meets with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China.

Canberra, June 21, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in this capital, H.E. Mr. Xiao Qian. The diplomats exchanged on the excellent state of bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the historical ties of friendship between Cuba and China.

The Cuban Ambassador expressed her appreciation for China's firm stance against the economic and financial trade blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than six decades.

The artistic director of the Australian group "Coro Austral" visits the Embassy of Cuba

Canberra, June 21, 2023. At the Cuban Embassy in Canberra, the Cuban Ambassador received Margot McLaughlin and David Goodwin, artistic director and member of the prestigious Australian choral group "Coro Austral", respectively.

The fraternal meeting served to address issues of Cuban culture, as well as to praise the excellence of Cuban music by these friends of Cuba who have participated on several occasions in choral music festivals held in the Caribbean nation.

Ambassador of Cuba meets with Director General of Multilateral Policy and Human Rights of the Australian Foreign Ministry

Canberra, 19 June, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador in Australia held a meeting with the Ambassador Natasha Smith, Director General of Multilateral Policy and Human Rights of the Australian Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was attended by other members of the multilateral policy team, as well asRosemary Morris-Castico,  Director for the European Union and Latin America Division  of the Australian Foreign Ministry.
