Cuba conveys gratitude for important solidarity support from the city of Geneva with solar panels to combat energy blockade

The Cuban Ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, met with Geneva City Councilors Tobias Schnebli and Christian Steiner, who were among the main proponents of the resolution of solidarity and support for Cuba recently adopted by the Geneva City Municipal Council. Under the resolution, Geneva will contribute 100,000 Swiss francs (approximately US$120,000) toward the purchase of solar panels to be installed in Cuban hospitals and polyclinics.
