 Today, November 8, the Departments of State, the Treasury and Commerce issued new provisions and regulations to implement the measures aimed at strengthening the blockade on Cuba announced on the past June 6, by President Trump and included in the executive order entitled “National Security Presidential Memorandum on Strengthening the Policy of the United States Toward Cuba”, which established the policy of his government towards our country.

#Cuba commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of All Nuclear Weapons

PRESS RELEASE

Geneva, 26 September 2017-On commemorating the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, the Permanent Mission of Cuba calls once again to raise awareness of the threat posed by nuclear weapons and the need for their total elimination.

Cuba encourages the United Nations system, civil society, academia, parliamentarians, the media and individuals to take appropriate action to commemorate this date.
