The Cuban Embassy in Nigeria expressed its condolences to Venezuela for the death of an illustrious son.

Nigeria, May 4, 2021. The members of the Cuban Embassy in Nigeria expressed their deepest condolences to the Venezuelan people and government for the death of Aristóbulo Istúriz, Minister of Popular Power for Education at the same time as he was sector vice president for the Social and Territorial Socialism of Venezuela.

Aristóbulo, a great son of Venezuela and a special friend of our people. With pain and sadness we accompany the brother people of Venezuela and the group of the Venezuelan embassy in Nigeria.

The African Union condemns the continuation of the US blockade against Cuba

Abuja, February 8, 2021. The Assembly of the African Union made up of the Heads of State and Government of Africa, approved the “Resolution on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States from America".

The text expresses deep concern about the continuity of the blockade and expresses its full support for the Resolution that the UN General Assembly passes each year on the subject.
