Rome, Jul 9, 2020.- Cuba denounced on Thursday at the FAO Council the obstacles to the acquisition of food, fuel and donations due to the US economic, commercial and financial blockade for almost six decades.
Speaking on the fourth day of the 164th session of the FAO Council leading Cuba's Permanent Representation to that body, Councilor Rebeca Cutie referred to the efforts her country is making to guarantee food security in the midst of the Covid-19 emergency.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba on June 4 issued a statement rejecting and denouncing the actions of political manipulation regarding Cuba's role in the process to achieve peace in Colombia.
