The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states its strong rejection of the slanderous inclusion of Cuba in a US State Department list of countries which are allegedly not cooperating fully with US efforts against terrorism that was made public on May 13, 2020 and that was strongly rejected by President Miguel Díaz-Canel. Cuban aid workers combat the fight against the Covid 19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

Havana, May 7. The collaborators of the Cuban Medical Brigade (BMC) in Trinidad and Tobago are healthy and more effective in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, said Dr. Laura Margarita González today. In dialogue with Prensa Latina via the internet, the BMC coordinator signified the commitment of all Cuban aid workers on Trinidadian soil, who comply with personal protection measures to contribute to the collective fight against the threat of the new coronavirus, SAR-CoV-2.

Cuba denounces continuity of US blockade despite COVID19

Havana, May 5 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, said on Monday that the US blockade against Cuba continues, and so does solidarity with this Caribbean country.
On Twitter, the Foreign Minister denounced that the international demand to end Washington's economic, commercial and financial siege against Cuba is growing, as are the unilateral coercive measures against the peoples.

The April 30´s attack against the Cuban Embassy in the United States shocked people who, inside and outside these two countries, immediately condemned the incident and expressed their solidarity with the Caribbean island.
Since a man shot at the Cuban embassy in Washington DC early morning, some versions of what happened and attacker’s motivations began to circulate on social media and in some US media outlets.
