Commemoration in Barbados of the Day Cubans remember all victims of terrorism at the Monument to the Victims of the Bombing of Cubana flight 455

Convened jointly by the Embassy of Cuba and the Government of Barbados, the 43rd Anniversary of the horrendous crime was remembered in Paynes Bay, site of the Monument with the participation of representatives of the Government of Barbados, of the Diplomatic Corps of the affected countries, of Cuban collaborators, of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba and of the Association of Cubans in Barbados.

Congratulations on the 70th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

Signing the congratulations book for the 70th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

On the occasion of the Reception offered by the Ambassador in Barbados, with the assistance of the highest authorities of the country, the signatures of the members of government, state, the diplomatic corps and other featured guests were collected in a congratulations book.

A documentary about the impressive development of the country was shown, and Chinese and Barbadian children sang popular tunes in English and Chinese languages respectively.

Government remains committed to its 2030 target to give every Barbadian under the age of 18 an opportunity to be bilingual.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley reiterated this commitment on Monday, when Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Parilla, who was on a one-day official visit, paid her a courtesy call, at Ilaro Court.
