Excellent performance by BCC talented music students at the Cuban diplomatic reception

At the conclusion of the diplomatic reception in Barbados on the 58th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, Havana Ensemble, a group of 13 talented music students from Barbados Community College (BCC), pleasantly surprised everyone in attendance with an excellent performance directed by their teacher, Darren Massiah, as they combined several Cuban rhythms that spread the public to dance with Cuban officials and collaborators.

BDC President to visit Cuba on business exploration.

A high-level delegation from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) headed by its President, Dr. Warren Smith, visited Havana on January 29, where he held important exchange meetings with various Cuban entities. Barbadian Deputy Foreign Minister, David Bulbulia, presided over a working meeting at the Chancellery with Cuban Ambassador, Francisco Fernandez, which analyzed important ongoing actions in different spheres of bilateral relations as part of a joint action plan with a view to celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on December 8th. Vice-Chancellor, Caribbean Unit Leader, Sandra Gittens, CARICOM Ambassador Robert Morris, and the Caribbean Unit, Mr. Corey Archer, attended the meeting.
