In farewell meeting Cuban Ambassador with Minister of Infrastructure of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis

The Cuban diplomat took the opportunity to thank for all the support received in the fulfillment of his mission during these almost 4 years in this friendly country and reiterated the will of his government to continue progressing in strengthening the ties that unite both nations.

Maynard, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the efforts made to develop bilateral relations.

Cuba sings and blossoms

The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto participated, on October 10th and 11th, 2025, in the 1st Festival dedicated to the "trova" musical style held in Toronto, "Cuba sings and blossoms."

Organized by Nancy Quetzal and Ernesto Espinoza, the event featured the Cuban "trovadores" (troubadours) Raul Torres, Fidel Diaz Castro, and Erdwin Vichot, accompanied by a group of artists of different nationalities who joined together, armed with guitars, violins, saxophones, flutes, and poetry to represent the ultimate expression of Cubanness through music.
