Canberra, May 26, 2025. The Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, Ivianes Gonzalez, participated in an emotional ceremony of raising the flag of Ecuador, held at the Latin American Plaza in Canberra, in commemoration of Ecuador's Independence Day.
Members of the diplomatic corps, Australian authorities and members of the Ecuadorian community residing in the capital were present.
Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge participated in the seminar “From Heart to Heart, Cultural Ties between Thailand and Latin America” on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), organized by the Latin America Division of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Tehran, May 26, 2025. Cuban doctors Vicente Vérez and Yuri Valdés, directors of the Finlay Vaccine Institute (IFV), were received by the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, at the headquarters of that ministry in the Iranian capital. Both relevant Cuban scientists were accompanied by the Cuban ambassador to this country, Jorge F. Lefebre Nicolás.
