Presents Cabinet Letters the new Cuban Chief of Mission in the United Arab Emirates

HE. Mohamed Al Shamsi and Mr. Sultan Al Shamsi, Director of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE and his Adviser, respectively, received Jorge León Cruz, head of the Cuban mission and María Victoria Bejerano Garcia, financial adviser , and discussed different issues and procedures to proceed with the opening of the Embassy of Cuba in Abu Dhabi, which begins a new stage in the development of bilateral relations between Cuba and the United Arab Emirates.

Debate in Ethiopia on the Constitution Draft

Addis Ababa, September 29, 2018. The Cuban working in Ethiopia under governmental agreements hold meetings to discuss the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Cuba. The officials of the Embassy, the health and education cooperants made more that 100 proposals of changes to the text, as well as expressed their considerations on the ways the State, the Government and the legal system shall work in Cuba.

Despite the US blockade, Cuba strengthens its government policies in favor of the youth, the disabled persons, the elderly and the family

NEW YORK, October 2nd, 2018. Cuba participated today in the debate on Item 28: Social development; a) Implementation of the outcome of the World Summit for Social Development and of the twenty-fourth special session of the General Assembly; and b) Social development, including questions relating to the world social situation and to youth, ageing, disabled persons and the family, from the agenda of the United Nations.

Cuba and The Bahamas for a greater exchange in the tourism sector

During the opening ceremony of the State of Tourism Industry Conference SOTIC 2018, the Minister of Tourism and Aviation of The Bahamas, the Honorable Dionisio D'Aguilar, exchanged with the Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara M. Vargas Walter. Both parties ratified the interest in developing tourism multi-destination programs, taking into account the attractions offered by the two nations.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuban in Trinidad and Tobago is pleased to invite you to participate in a Press Conference which will take place at the Embassy on Wednesday October 17th, 2018 at 10:00am.

The Cuban Ambassador will share information about the Cuban Resolution entitled "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba" which will be voted on, on October 31st, 2018 at the United Nations General Assembly.
