Cuba's Ambassador meets with the President of the General Customs Authority

Doha, October 2, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba in the State of Qatar, Mr. Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez, held a meeting today with Mr. Ahmas Abdulla Al-jamal, President of the General Customs Authority of Qatar.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and perspectives for strengthening cooperation between Cuba and Qatar in the customs sector. The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

Cuban President and Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulate their Cypriot counterparts.

Cyprus, October 2, 2018. - The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a congratulatory message to his Cypriot counterpart, Nicos Anastasiades, on the occasion of the 58th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Cyprus.

Likewise, the Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, also congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Mediterranean island, Nicos Christodoulides, at the same time that he ratified the will to continue strengthening the friendship and relations between both countries.

Cuban Ambassador attends celebration for World Children's Day

SRI LANKA, October 2nd, 2018. - Invited by the Member of Parliament and leader of the Joint Opposition, Dinesh Gunawardena, the Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, attended the celebration for World Children's Day in Maharagama organized by the Community Forum.

The Ambassador conversed with members of the community, political leaders and members of local government.

The activity featured a cultural gala where the traditional puppets dancers of Ambalangoda in the Southern province had a special space.

Cuban Ambassador participates in commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in Ulaanbaatar.

Ulaanbaatar, October 2, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia participated this morning in the ceremony of commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi organized by the Embassy of India in Ulaanbaatar. With a floral tribute ceremony at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi located on the avenue that bears his name in the city of Ulaanbaatar, those present paid tribute to this Indian thinker and politician.
