Meeting between the AU Deputy Chairperson and the Cuban Ambassador

Addis Ababa, June 7, 2018.  The Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mr.  Kwesi Quartey had a working meeting with the Cuban Ambassador to this organziation, H.E. Mr.  Angel Villa.

Both parties reviewed the bilateral links existing between Cuba and the African Union, as well ass the outcomes of the recent meetings held by the Cuban Ambassador with the AU Commissioners for Political Affairs and Human Ressources, Science and Technology, respectively.

Cuban Deputy Chancellor on an official visit to Barbados

The deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Rogelio Sierra Díaz, begins today an official visit to Barbados, as part of the journey that began on June 5 throughout five Caribbean countries, accompanied by the director of Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Jorge Luis Mayo Fernández. Barbados has a special meaning for Cuba, because together with Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Jamaica, they established diplomatic relations with Cuba simultaneously on December 8, 1972.

Information on the provisions regulating the stay and registration at the place of temporary residence of foreign citizens during the World Football Championship FIFA 2018
