Alleged sonic attacks (+Video)

This past February 17, the State Department and the U.S. embassy in Havana, reported, for the first time, to Cuba's Foreign Ministry and diplomatic mission in Washington, the alleged occurrence of sonic attacks between November of 2016 and February, 2017.

According to statements by U.S. authorities, these incidents were produced by long-range sonic devices, which affected the health of diplomatic personnel and their family members.

The US blockade against Cuba is condemned in Ireland

Ireland, October 25, 2017. Members of solidarity groups, trade unions and political forces, as well as Cuban residents in Dublin and media representatives, met at Liberty Hall, headquarters of SIPTU (Services Industrial Professional and Technical Union) to condemn the criminal blockade that the United States imposes on the Cuban people for more than 50 years.

Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Cuban Ambassador

 

NIGERIA, OCTOBER 26, 2017. Yesterday afternoon, Nigeria's Foreign Minister Geoffrey Onyeama received the Cuban ambassador, Carlos Trejo Sosa, accredited to the country.

The main objective of the meeting was to exchange ideas about the permanence of the US blockade imposed on the Cuban archipelago more than five decades ago. The dialogue took place in a respectful and cordial atmosphere reflecting the current relations between Cuba and Nigeria. They also discussed other current issues of international concern.
