New York, 18 June 2018. Today, the United Nations Committee on Decolonization adopted by consensus a decision concerning Puerto Rico. The text submitted by Cuba was also co-sponsored by Bolivia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Syria, Russia and Antigua and Barbuda, the latter joining the text for the first time. This is the nineteenth consecutive occasion that the Decolonization Committee adopts a resolution on Puerto Rico by consensus.
Beirut, June 18 .- Around fifty Cubans resident in Lebanon, mainly from Baalbeck, Ras Baalbeck, Chtoura and other towns in the Province of Beqaa gathered in Dar Al Helmet to celebrate the Day of the Fathers in Cuba.
The typical "caldosa", Cuban music and dances allowed the Cuban-Lebanese families reunited to enjoy an afternoon with a taste of the distant homeland while congratulating the fathers present.
