Kcho and "The Thinker" prestige Cuba in art exhibition in Austria

The outstanding artist Alexis Leyva Machado (Kcho) has impressed the public and the specialized critics, with the presentation of his work "The Thinker", within the international art exhibition "Höchenrausch- The Other Shore", inaugurated in the Cultural Center of Linz, with the presence of the Governor of the Upper Austria Region, Thomas Stelzer; the Mayor of the city, Klaus Luger and the Ambassador of Cuba in Austria, Juan Antoo Fernández Palacios.

Barbadian people paid tribute to the air accident´s victims.

The various Barbadian organizations that make up the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MSC) called a solemn ceremony at the Embassy of Cuba to pay tribute to the victims of the plane crash and send in different ways the message of solidarity to family members and Cuban people; the mistress of ceremony, Margaret Harris, graduated from philological studies in Cuba, recited the allegorical poem "Death" by Nicolás Guillén and presented several personalities who came to express their condolences, including friendly activists Robert Clarke, David Comissiong, David Denny, Dr Tennyson Jose
