Foreign Ministers of Cuba and Venezuela meet in New York.

New York, October 30, 2017.The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla and comrade Jorge Arreaza Monserrat, Minister of People´s Power for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, held a fraternal meeting this afternoon, October 30th in New York.

CEDA Executive Director signs Plan of Action with Cuba in the FIHAV-2017

The Executive Director of the Caribbean Agency for the Development of Exports (CEDA), Dr. Pamela Coke-Hamilton, attended the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV-2017) between October 30 and November 2, holding official talks with the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Iliana Núñez, and with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba (CCC), Orlando Hernández Guillén. With the latter, Coke-Hamilton signed an Action Plan for the next two years of work, which will promote actions with a view to diversifying exports between the Caribbean islands.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment (BCCI) of Barbados, Eddy Abed, presided over the delegation of that entity to the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV-2017) and with the presence of the Minister of International Business, Donville Innis, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba (CCC), Orlando Hernández Guillén, thus fulfilling the objective outlined with a view to promoting greater economic interaction between both countries.

Minister Donville Inniss chairs Barbadian delegation to the FIHAV-2017

The Minister of International Business, Donville Inniss, chaired the delegation of Barbados to the 35th annual edition of the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV-2017) held between October 30 and November 3 last. The broad representation of Barbados was integrated this year by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI), Eddy Abed, the Vice President of the Investment Development Corporation (BIDC) and managers of six companies, three of them present for the first time in this important forum.
