At the Embassy of Cuba, a political-cultural activity was held to commemorate the 55th Anniversary of the founding of the Organization for African Unity (OAU), which became in 2002 African Union (AU).
On Thursday at the Inspiration Center, healthcare professionals from across the public and private sectors participated in the second annual Cuba and Belize Medical Symposium. Both countries share a unique partnership where health and medicine are concerned. That interest continues to see Belizeans completing medical studies in Cuba, as well as the Cuban Medical Brigade sending its nurses and doctors to practice in Belize. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent the cable of condolences to Chairman of the State Council and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez concerning the crush of passenger aircraft next to Havana International Airport caused numerous human victims and injuries.
On behalf of people and the Government of Turkmenistan as well as personally, the Head of the State conveyed the words of sympathy and support in this hard moment to the relatives and friends of the victims and wishes of speedy recovery to the injured.
