Elba Rosa Pérez Montoya, Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment of Cuba held a fraternal encounter with Cuban residents in Austria and members of the movement of solidarity with Cuba in this country, on the occasion of her working visit to the alpine country to attend the 2nd CTBT Science and Diplomacy Symposium at the UN quarters in Vienna.

‘Cuba Salud’ health conference which he hopes to explore means to harness
South South cooperation options so as to achieve the sustainable development
goals.
The conference from April 23-27 was held under the patronage of the Cuban
Ministry of Health and the Office of World Health Organisation (WHO)
director general, Dr Tedros Adhanom, and brought together health leaders
from developing challenges and opportunities.
Ramon Roach, from the Department of Disaster Management of Barbados and Clive Murray, director of CDEMA, together with 40 Cuban delegates and 30 from the 14 Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), attend the UNESCO International Scientific School, organized in Havana in coordination with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) of Cuba from May 29 to June 1, to exchange about the Cuban experience in confronting climate change with the Caribbean countries and will discuss about relevant issues focused on the construction of resilient societies, through the link
“Cuba SÍ, bloqueo NO” was the call made by "ÖKG", the Austrian-Cuban Friendship Association which gathered hundreds of participants to the public activity carried out in the Viennese district of Wieden, where ÖKG´s headquarters are located. The activity aimed at showing neighbors and visitors the solidarity work they do with Cuba and at calling the attention of new members. In a festive atmosphere enlivened by Austrian musicians and Cuban residents, the participants spoke out against the blockade and received updated information about Cuba.
