Dublin, June 21, 2018. In the "Mansion House", official headquarters of the City Hall of Dublin, building with 300 years of history, was received Fernando Gonzalez Llort, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Towns by its Mayor Micheál Mac Donncha.

After the welcome offered by the Mayor, Fernando had the opportunity to tour the property and learn details of its history closely linked to the development of the city and the constitution of Ireland as an independent Republic.

Led by Deputy Thomas Pringle and with the presence of several of its members, the Irish Parliamentary Committee of Friendship with Cuba welcomed the Deputy to the National Assembly of Popular Power, Fernando Gonzalez Llort, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, who is currently visiting Ireland for work.

The director of Sub-Saharan Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Gisela García Rivera, successfully concluded her working visit to The Gambia. The Cuban diplomat had the opportunity to confirm the good state of bilateral relations between the two countries and ratified the willingness to continue supporting the African nation in the training of human resources and medical cooperation, as well as expanding collaboration to other sectors of common interest.
