Chargé d'Affaires of Cuba in Liberia is received by the Liberian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marjon Kamara.

On Tuesday morning, the Chargé d'Affaires of Cuba in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, HE Ambassador Marjon Vashti Kamara. The cordial meeting took place at the headquarters of the Liberian Foreign Ministry. The purpose of this visit was to deliver the letter addressed to Minister Kamara by his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla. The blockade of United States against Cuba is condemned in Sri Lanka

SRI LANKA, October 17, 2017. - Convened by the Frontline Socialist Party, a large group of friends of Cuba gathered today, in front of the headquarters of the United States Embassy in Colombo, demanding the immediate lifting of the blockade imposed on Cuba by the US government, for more than 50 years.

Presents also delivered a written notification to the US Embassy demanding that the US government put an end to the unjust policy of blockade against Cuba, while expressing their solidarity with the Caribbean island.

New York, October 16, 2017.  Cuba supports and strictly complies with the provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, stated Cuban Second Secretary to the United Nations, Lilianne Sanchez Rodriguez, during the Thematic Debate on "Other Weapons of Mass Destruction", of the First Committee at the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly.
