Delegation of ESBECAN back in Ghana reiterates its rejection of the blockade and ratifies its admiration for Fidel

The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis Despaigne Gonzalez, received at the "Kotoka" International Airport in Accra the delegation of the Association of Ghana Graduates in Cuba (ESBECAN), which participated in the activities for the 40th Anniversary of the "Internationalist Training Program" on the Isle of Youth.

In his welcoming remarks, the Cuban diplomat thanked the delegation for their demonstrated interest in participating in the Program, and especially for their outstanding performance in the event.

THE DAY OF THE CUBAN NATIONAL CULTURE WAS CELEBRATED IN PAKISTAN WITH AN EXTENSIVE CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Islamabad, October 20, 2017. With the presence of Cuban cultural delegation formed by the Typical Oriental Quintet, two dancers, a chef, one cigar maker and a representative of the Ministry of Culture of Cuba, was held on October 20 Cuban National Culture Day at the Marriot hotel in this capital. The gastronomic show musical- and in situ production of famous Habanos, widely reported by the Pakistani media, was chaired by the Ambassador of Cuba to Pakistan and also attended Pakistani personalities, heads of accredited diplomatic missions, journalists, businessmen and friends of Cuba.

Ottawa, October 19, 2017 - Deputies to the Cuban National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament) Belkys Pérez Cruz and Ariel Mantecón Ramos, along with parliamentarians from other seven Latin American and Caribbean countries attended ParlAmericas Conference on Legislative Openness this week in Ottawa.

Liberian Radio dedicates special broadcast to the Day of Cuban Culture

On Friday, October 20, the Second Secretary of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Liberia, Carmen Maury Toledo, participated in the evening program "Afternoon Conversation" of the radio station Super Communication Network. To the noble purpose of socializing with Liberian radioaudience issues of Cuban history, culture and identity, joined the intention of several journalists of the station to make this live broadcast possible.

Cuban Ambassador pays Courtesy Call to Mayor of Francistown.

As part of the program of activities developed in an official visit to the City of Francistown, Botswana, H.E. Patricia Lazara Pego Guerra pays a Courtesy Call to Her Worship, Ms. Sylvia Tabitha Muzila, the Mayor.

They talk about the excellent bilateral relations, established almost 40 years ago.

Her Worship expresses gratitude for the presence and work of Cuban health professionals in Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital, saving lives and preventing illness of Botswana people.
