Meeting with Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba of Sri Lanka

SRI LANKA, April 18, 2017. - As part of activities developed by the official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) during her working visit to Sri Lanka, Yexenia Calzado Rosa, a fruitful meeting was held with the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba in the Headquarter of that legislative body.

Cuban Foreign Minister thanks Spain for solidarity

Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez thanked the Spanish people for its solidarity and support as well as their government´s rejection of the US blockade of Cuba. 

At a press conference in Madrid, Rodriguez, who is on a two-day visit, described as friendly and useful the meetings he held in the first day with Spanish authorities. 


Minister Rodriguez was received by the King of Spain, Felipe VI, the President Mariano Rajoy and the President of the Parliament Ana Pastor, and later met with his Spanish counterpart Alfonso Dastis Quecedo. 

Agreement on Visa Waiver between Cuba and Ghana enters into force

The Agreement on Visa Waiver for Holders of Diplomatic, Official and Service Passports between the Government of the Republic of Cuba and the Government of the Republic of Ghana has entered into force. The Agreement was signed in Accra on 18th October, 2013.

The Agreement facilitates the entry into their respective territories of citizens of both countries who are holders of valid Diplomatic, Official and Service Passports.
