Foreign Minister of Ghana and Cuban Ambassador held cordial meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mrs.Hanna Serwaa Tetteh held a cordial meeting with the Cuban ambassador, Mr. Pedro L. Despaigne González, during the ceremony for the Christmas festivities held in areas of the headquarters of the Ghanaian Foreign Ministry.

The close ties that link both countries were recalled at the meeting and also the last visit of the Minister to Cuba.

The Cuban Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada was welcomed by the new president of the Iran-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Reza Mansouri, whom he praised on his appointment to the post. Gonzalez also delivered letters of congratulations from the president of the International Relations Committee at the National Assembly of People’s Power, Yolanda Ferrer Gomez, and the president of the corresponding Cuba-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group, Pedro Victor Simon Rodriguez.

The Cuban Society of Pharmacology, the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR) and their respective Sections of Immunopharmacology, as well as the most prestigious Cuban institutions in the field of immunology, immunopharmacology, vaccine development and biotechnology sciences are organizing the Second International Convention IMMUNOPHARMACOLOGY–VACCIPHARMA 2017, scheduled for June 25-29, 2017 at the Meliá Marina Varadero Hotel, in Varadero beach, Cuba.

Geneva, Dec 19 Cuba denounced today at the World Trade Organization (WTO) that the blockade of the United States prevails almost unchanged, which remains the main obstacle to the development of Cuba.
