THE BAHAMAS, January 31, 2016.- The Ambassador of Cuba in The Bahamas Ismara Vargas Walter,  attended as a special guest at a Round Table Conference for businessmen and private investors, held in the Caribbean country.

The meeting, held at the Lyford Cay Club and organized by the DELTEC group was part of interesting presentations on the investments made today in various fields of technology, robotics, space industry, as well as an update of the current world market situation and areas with high yield potential for private investors.

CELAC Summit to adopt a Special Declaration on Peace and Nuclear Disarmament

The IV CELAC Summit Meeting recently held in Quito, Ecuador, approved several relevant documents to our nations. In addition to the substantial and comprehensive Final Declaration, this time it was adopted a Special Declaration on the commitment to advance in multilateral negotiations on Nuclear Disarmament. Its first point was precisely to consolidate Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, as it was proclaimed at the II Summit held in Havana in January 2014.
