Liberia hosted the 22nd Regional Conference on Road Construction and Maintenance, where participants, including political leaders and technical experts, acknowledged Monrovia's political will to unite efforts, strengthen the continental cooperation plan, and exchange experiences on this vital issue, given the significant challenges posed by climate change.

In his statement, Ambassador Gala López referred to the persistence of unjustified restrictions imposed by the United States, which continue to affect several delegations of UN Member States.

New Delhi, November 7, 2025- A shipment of 20 tons of humanitarian aid arrived in Cuba today, sent by the government of the Republic of India following the passage of devastating hurricane Melissa through the east of the country. Our gratitude to the Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Air Force, and the people of India for the noble gesture of solidarity in donating supplies, medical equipment and two BHISHM hospitals for the care of those affected by Hurricane Melissa in Cuba.

Organized by Ireland's largest trade union, the SIPTU (Industrial and Technical Services Professional Union) relaunched its Solidarity Forum with Cuba, chaired by its Deputy General Secretary, Ethel Buckley, and board member Adrian Kane. Senator Chris Andrews, coordinator of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba, the Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, Irish and Cuban residents, and other guests, also attended the event, called “Cuban Night”.
