Addis Ababa, May 7, 2025.- At the headquarters of the African Union, the Ambassador of Cuba to the organization, Lucas Domingo Hernández Polledo, held a cordial and fruitful meeting with Mr. Mohamed El-Amine Souef, Chief of the Cabinet of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission.
Cuban Ambassador Dr. Indira López Arguelles welcomed the young women selected to study medicine in Cuba. They visited the embassy accompanied by the First Secretary of the Liberian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Aaron Guanue.
The candidates learned about Cuba, part of its history, and the characteristics of their studies in general, and they are very excited about the new chapter that is opening in their lives.

As we have informed before: The Danish-Cuban Association will host the next Nordic Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba.
We extend a warm welcome to the delegation of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, led by the Minister of Tourism, Industry, and Commerce. We recognize the country’s commitment to the Universal Periodic Review. We note that Guyana has significantly increased its responses to requests for information from special procedures and has strengthened cooperation with the United Nations human rights mechanisms, which are universally applicable and not selective.
Cairo, May 6, 2025. Vietnamese Ambassador to Cairo, Nguyen Huy Dung, received his Cuban counterpart, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, at the Vietnamese Embassy in this capital.
The ambassadors exchanged on the historic and fraternal relations between the two countries, as well as on the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba that has been developed and strengthened in various fields over the years, including close coordination and mutual support between the two sides in regional and international multilateral forums.
