Cuban culture national day celebrated in Australia

On October 6th, the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society(ACFS) and the Cuban Embassy jointly organized an artistic gala in Canberra on the occasion of Cuban culture national day that will be officially celebrated on next October 20th.

Embassy of Cuba arranged Latin American Flavours Festival Fourth Edition

Canberra, August 17 - At the headquarters of the iconic Hyatt Hotel in the Australian capital, the Latin American Flavours Festival was inaugurated in its fourth edition, whose organization corresponded for the first time to the Embassy of Cuba, together with the support of the diplomatic missions of Latin America accredited in Australia.

Fidel's 92 birthday celebrated in Australia

Canberra, August 13 - A moving function was organized in the Australian Capital Territory by the Embassy of Cuba and the ACFS (Australia Cuba Friendship Society) with the aim of paying tribute to Fidel Castro, who would be reaching to 92 years this 13th August .

Friends of Cuba celebrated 26th July in Melbourne

Members from the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society(ACFS) gathered together last weekend in Melbourne city to commemorate 26th July and stressed their support to the Cuban Revolution.

The opening words were delivered by the ACFS´s president, Mrs. Maree Dellora, who stressed the historical significance of that date in which Fidel Castro was revealed  to the world as the leader of the revolutionary process that gave Cuba its definitive independence, on 1rst January 1959.
