Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia and the tourism towards Cuba
Cuba expects the arrival of 4 million 700 thousand tourists by the end of this year. By 2018 it is expected to reach the five million visitors.
Every time the number of people choosing the Island as a tourist destination is bigger and, corresponding to this, the amount of available rooms for the stay in the hotel chains and the accommodations in “casas particulares” (B&B) has been increased.
Declaration by Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the recognition by the United States of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba expresses its deepest concern at and utter rejection of the US president's unilateral declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, which constitutes a serious, flagrant breach of the UN Charter, of international law and of the relevant UN resolutions.
Cuba and Croatia sign a MoU for the establishment of political consultations
Zagreb, 7 December 2017 – H.E. Mr. Vice Skračić, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs and H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, Ambassador of Cuba in that country signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries for the Establishment of Political Consultations at a ceremony held in Zagreb on 7 December.
