Important Azerbaijani press agency publishes photo-chronicle in commemoration of the 167th anniversary of the National Hero: José Martí, the Soul of Cuba.

Today Cuba commemorates the 167th anniversary of the birth of the National Hero, José Martí Pérez, defending the validity of his thinking.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Azerbaijan shared his thoughts regarding the great son of the Cuban people with AZERTAC.

"Martí", as we all call Cubans, is honored every day, but it is January 28, when that homage becomes universal.

Azerbaijani press highlights Cuba's victory at the UN

The press agency of Azerbaijan, AZERTAC, highlighted today the victory of Cuba in the United Nations where the resolution was passed: Need to end the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba, with 187 votes favor; 3 against and 2 abstentions.

Prensa Latina and Azertac sign cooperation agreement

The Latin American News Agency Prensa Latina and the Azeri news agency Azertac signed a cooperation and exchange agreement at a ceremony in the headquarters of the local media organization in this capital on Saturday.

Chief Editor Orlando Oramas penned the accord on behalf of Prensa Latina President Luis Enrique Gonzalez, while Azertac Board President Aslan Aslanov represented the Azeri news agency.

Newly inaugurated Spanish version of the Azerbaijan agency AZERTAC opens its doors to Cuba

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, toured the facilities of the AZERTAC news agency and his new language dedicated to information in Spanish.

During the visit the Cuban diplomat was received by the President of the agency, Aslan Aslanov, whom he praised for the creation of the team and appreciated the importance of spreading the Azerbaijani reality in different languages.

Both parties, analyzed future collaborations and considered very valuable the exchange of information about what happens in our nations.

Azerbaijani media publish about the state of relations between Cuba and Azerbaijan

The Azertac press agency and the TV-portal Azvision.az published today two exclusive interviews offered to each media by the Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, on the occasion of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and the 166th birthday of the National Hero, José Martí.

Both media highlighted the state of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Azerbaijan, as well as the life and work of the revolutionary leaders, José Martí Pérez and Fidel Castro Ruz.
