Barbados’ Governor highlights achievements of Caricom-Cuba relations
Bridgetown, December 9, 2021.- Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, highlighted the achievements of the relationship between the Caribbean Community (Caricom) and Cuba, and called for further strengthening it in the face of common challenges, official websites reported today.
“Despite the progress made, we still have a lot of work to do”, Mottley said regarding the 49th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and Jamaica with Cuba.
The Director General of the Foreign Ministry of The Bahamas receives Cuban Ambassador
December 1, 2021. Cuban Ambassador Julio César González Marchante was received by Ambassador Sharon C. Brennen Haylock, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Eugene F. Torchon-Newry, Head of the Foreign Relations Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was present at the cordial meeting.
