Nassau, July 26th, 2020. 67 years ago, 152 men assaulted the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks. 82 fighters sailed to Cuba in November 1956, on a yacht designed for no more than 12 crew. With 7 rifles and a handful of fighters in Cinco Palmas, Fidel and his men were sure that they would win the war.
Cuba participates in the United Nations Virtual Counter-Terrorism Week
New York, July 6th, 2020. Ambassador Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, Deputy Permanent Representative and Chargé d´Affaires a.i. of Cuba to the United Nations, denounced today the terrorist attack against the Cuban Embassy to the United States on 30 April, and she declared that the government of the United States is still incapable to publicly condemn the act and recognize its terrorist nature.
