CARICOM condemns blockade against Cuba and exclusions from summit

Georgetown, May 24 (Prensa Latina) The Community of Caribbean States (CARICOM) condemned the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba, and the selective exclusion of countries from the 9th Summit of the Americas.

A CARICOM statement highlights that among the agreements of the Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations, the member states reaffirmed the need to lift Washington’s economic, financial and commercial blockade against Havana, and agreed to continue claiming that.

ALBA-TCP Summit announced in Cuba

Havana, May 24 (Prensa Latina) The XXI Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) will take place in Havana next Friday, it was announced.
