April 19, 2024 - In the framework of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republics of Cuba and Liberia, the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a meeting with the Liberian Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Bakri Nyei, who was accompanied by the Assistant Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration Affairs Naomie M. Gray and Assistant Minister for International Organizations Karishma Pelham-Raad.

Monrovia, April 10, 2024 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez paid a courtesy visit to the new Assistant Minister for American Affairs of the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Christiana Wahblo Konneh.

The occasion was propitious for the two diplomats to review the progress of bilateral relations and to discuss issues of interest in the multilateral arena.

Monrovia, March 27, 2024 - This morning, the Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Bakri Nyei, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, received the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera at the headquarters of the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

In a fraternal atmosphere, both parties expressed the mutual willingness of their governments to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral ties and the rapprochement between two peoples with common ancestors.

Monrovia, September 29, 2023.- The members of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Liberia lived an afternoon of luxury and pride when they received the special visit of the first two Liberians graduated in Cuba in the specialty of Medicine, fruit of the bilateral relations Cuba-Liberia, who were received with a special welcome by the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L.
