Cuba reports four new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours

Havana, July 23-- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported four new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,466 positive cases across the island.  

During his daily press briefing held Thursday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up until 12 midnight Wednesday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus.

The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were eight new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,361 positive cases across the island.  

During his daily press briefing held Friday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up until 12 midnight Thursday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus.  A total of 86 patients have died in Cuba over the past several months.

Havana, August 3, 2020.- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported 24 new cases detected yesterday of COVID-19, for a total of 2,670 positive cases across the island.

During his daily press briefing held Monday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up until 12 midnight Sunday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus. This is the 22nd consecutive day there have been no deaths from the virus in Cuba. A total of 87 patients have died in Cuba over the past several months.

Havana, June 28, 2020 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were two new cases detected of COVID-19, for a total of 2,332 positive cases across the island.  

During his daily press briefing held Sunday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up to 12 midnight Saturday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus.  A total of 86 patients have died in Cuba over the past several months.

Havana continues to improve its health indicators to enter the first phase of recovery

Havana, June 24, 2020.- Havana is the only province in the country that has not passed to phase one of the recovery stage of COVID-19.  A total of 102 confirmed active cases of the new coronavirus remain in the province, three of them yesterday, and most of them with a known source of infection; two open local transmission events; an incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants of 5.20 in the last 15 days and tending to decrease in that period; and a reproductive rate of the disease of 0.62.
