Cuba reports 6 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours

Havana, June 10 (RHC)-- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 6 new cases of COVID-19, for an total of 2,211 positive cases across the island.

During his daily press briefing held Wednesday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up to 12 midnight Tuesday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus.

Havana, June 2 - The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 9 new cases of COVID-19, for an total of 2,092 positive cases across the island.  

During his daily press briefing held Tuesday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up to 12 midnight Monday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus.  A total of 83 patients have died from COVID-19 in Cuba over the past several months.

Havana, May 22 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 8 new cases of COVID-19, for an total of 1,916 positive cases across the island.  

During his daily press briefing held Friday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up to 12 midnight Thursday night -- unfortunately, one patient died from the coronavirus.  A total of 81 patients have died from COVID-19 in Cuba over the past several months.

Cuba reiterates to WHO willingness to share anti-Covid-19 experiences

Havana, May 18 (Prensa Latina) The Minister of Public Health José Ángel Portal reiterated to WHO at its World Assembly today, Cuba's willingness to cooperate and share its experiences in the fight against Covid-19.

No country can face this pandemic alone, it requires a global response based on unity, solidarity and cooperation, Portal stressed in his speech as part of the meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) that for The first is done virtually.

On March 13, the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland asked the Cuban authorities for permission to dock in a Cuban port for the cruise ship MS Braemar, on the Fred Olsen line, with a small number of travelers affected by the new coronavirus (SARS CoV 2 / Covid-19), and its repatriation by air.
