Agriculture and food among the fields of cooperation to develop between Cuba and Mongolia.

Mr. Ulaan Chultem, the new Minister of Agriculture, Food and Light Industry of Mongolia, received today the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, in a meeting in which they reviewed the main aspects of the cooperation in agricultural and animal husbandry that could be developed between the two countries. Ambassador of Cuba meets with director of the Americas of the Azeri Chancellery

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Azerbaijan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, held a working meeting with the director of the Directorate of the Americas of the Azeri Foreign Ministry, Anar Janahmadov, at the headquarters of this Ministry.

During the cordial meeting both parties exchanged about the bilateral relationship and ways to boost cooperation between both countries.

Cubans residents in Mongolia commemorated this Sunday, at the Cuban Embassy in Mongolia, the 58th Anniversary of the defeat of the mercenary invasion of Playa Girón. Accompanied by some invited members of the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba and the Cuban medical specialists who work in this capital, the Cuban residents commemorated a new anniversary of the first defeat of Yankee imperialism in America.

Cuban tourism is promoted at the International Relations University of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the VIII International Festival of the University of International Relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ADA), the diplomatic mission of Cuba in this Caucasian nation promoted the tourist destination of the Island among those attending the event.

Mongolia and Cuba work together in the fields of Tourism and the Environment.

The new Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, Mr. N.Tserenbat, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, at the Government Palace in a working meeting whose main objective was give continuity to the strengthening of relations in this important sector for both countries. The Cuban Ambassador updated the Minister on tourism development on the island and the challenges facing the sector today considered the engine of the current Cuban economy from the sustained increase in the arrival of tourists to Cuba.

Inaugurated in Baku, a photographic exhibition "La Habana 500 años"

Revolutionary Government Declaration

Today, April 17, is the anniversary of the launching of the United State’s 1961 military invasion at Playa Girón. (Bay of Pigs) The Cuban people’s resolute response in defense of the Revolution and socialism, within only 72 hours, produced the first military defeat of imperialism in America.

Strangely, the date was chosen by the current U.S. government to announce new aggressive measures against Cuba and to reinforce their implementation of the Monroe Doctrine.
