MNB World Interview with Cuban Ambassador to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar,  September 18, 2018.- The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción, gave an interview to the Mongolia National Broadcaster of Mongolia for the television program "MNB World Project". In the interview the 58 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Mongolia were discussed, as well as the different projects with which the Embassy of Cuba has been working to expand and consolidate these relations.

Vietnames leaders welcomed Cuban First Vice President

The first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, was welcomed in Hanoi by the Secretary General of Vietnam Communist Party (VCP), the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the leader of the National Assembly.

Valdés Mesa talked with the leader of VCP, Nguyen Phu Trong, about the importance of his last visit to Cuba, last March, when both countries reached new agreements in order to expand bilateral political and economic ties.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Ana Teresita González Fraga will begin next Monday a tour of several countries in Europe and Central Asia, the Chancellery of the island reported.
According to the source, González Fraga's journey includes visits to Belarus, Georgia, Poland, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Iceland and Ireland.
The vice minister's agenda includes official talks and meetings with authorities of those countries with which Cuba maintains diplomatic relations.

The path to proclamation for Cuba’s new Constitution

Cuba, August 27, 2018.- The popular consultation has begun, and streets, workplaces, schools, and even houses have become places to debate, legislate, and take charge of the times to come.

Still several months away is the proclamation of the country’s new Constitution, one of the world’s most modern, as specialists in the field have said, given the additions proposed by the commission charged with writing the first draft, which was subsequently approved by the National Assembly of People’s Power.

The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States of America against Cuba for almost six decades is the most unfair, severe and extended system of unilateral sanctions ever applied against any country.  From April of 2017 until March of 2018, the period with which this report deals, the blockade policy has intensified and it continues to be applied will all rigor.
