During the ceremony of donation of the Complete Works of the Liberator Simon Bolivar by the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Universities of Tehran, Allameh Tabataba'i and Islamic Azad, the Iranian academic sector expressed their condolences on the recent death of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

Oscar Israel Martinez Cordoves, Ambassador of Republic of Cuba to New Delhi, recently came to Dhaka for one-day visit to attend Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Summit. During his visit, he spoke on Fidel Castro, who recently passed away, Bangladesh, Cuba relations and other important issues including health sector of Cuba in an inclusive interview with The Asian age. New Delhi, India. December 13, 2016. The 9th Summit of the Global Forum on Migration and Development was held from 10th to 12th December in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This event was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of this country Ms. Sheikh Hasina who affirmed the international community is working with states and civil society to push for a comprehensive Global Compact of Migrants and Refugees by 2018.

Ulaan Bator, December 8, 2016. Raúl Delgado Concepción, the new Cuban ambassador appointed in Mongolia, presented the Copies of the Credentials to the Hon. Ms. Batmunkh Battsetseg, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
In a cordial atmosphere, both sides reaffirmed the good state of bilateral ties and agreed on the mutual interest of strengthening bilateral relations, especially the ties of cooperation.
The Vice Minister wished success to Ambassador Raúl Delgado in fulfilling this new mission and offered the support of the Foreign Ministry to achieve this goal.
