President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez congratulates Prime Minister Mia Mottley on her election victory

The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Mia Mottley on February 12th, congratulating her on her electoral victory. Our president posted on his Twitter account: "On behalf of the Government and people of Cuba, we congratulate the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, on her electoral victory. We reiterate our commitment to continue strengthening the historic bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation that unite our peoples."

Kwanzaa Festival Culminates in Barbados

Members of the Caribbean Movement for Peace and Integration and the Africanist Movement of Barbados dedicated the closing of the Kwanzaa Festival to the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and in support of the end of the blockade and the exclusion of Cuba from the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism. With the presence of the Cuban and Venezuelan Ambassadors, the movement ratified the defense of all just causes in the world.
