The Northern Ireland Assembly member and National Coordinator of the Sinn Féin party urges the U.S. government to end its blockade against Cuba.

The US administration must end its blockade on Cuba – Kearney

Declan Kearney MLA has called on the US administration to end its blockade on Cuba. Essential services are being decimated and the Cuban people are being collectively punished.

Speaking in the Assembly the Sinn Féin National Chairperson said:

“The nearly seven decades-long US blockade of Cuba is a collective punishment of the Cuban people.

“It is a silent genocide that is morally wrong and politically indefensible.
