Cuba and Bayelsa sign Memorandum of Understanding.

Nigeria, July 6, 2022. The government of Bayelsa, an important Nigerian state, and the BioCubaFarma Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday aimed at establishing a long-term biopharmaceutical alliance for the co-production of vaccines and other drugs.

On behalf of the Nigerian delegation, the Bayelsa Health Commissioner, Pabara Newton Igwele, signed the MoU, and on behalf of the Cuban biopharmaceutical conglomerate, its first vice president, Mayda Mauri Pérez.

Nigeria, February 17, 2022.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, received Olufemi Lijadu and Ovie E. Ukiri, directors and owners of the law firm U&L (Ukiri Lijadu) at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry. )

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and highlighted the possibilities of both countries for trade and cooperation in different fields.

Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria visits the Ministry of Agriculture.

Nigeria, November 22nd, 2021.- The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Agriculture of Nigeria, Mohammed Mahmood Abubakar.

The meeting provided the opportunity for the Cuban diplomat to convey her congratulations and that of her Cuban counterpart for his recent appointment to this portfolio of agriculture, of high importance and responsibility in the face of the reality of the country.

Minister of the Interior of Nigeria receives Cuban Ambassador.

Nigeria, November 18th, 2021. - The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, was received by the Nigerian Minister of the Interior Ogboni Rauf Aregbesola, at the headquarters of this ministry.

It was an excellent opportunity to exchange about the deep ties of friendship and common history that unite the two countries. They also discussed regional and international news. The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, a reflection of the good existing relations.

Nice meeting between the Minister of Science and Technology of Nigeria and the Ambassador of Cuba.

Nigeria, November 9, 2021.- The Nigerian Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Clara Pulido Escandell, at the headquarters of his Ministry.

In the meeting, developed in a friendly atmosphere and of mutual interest to develop bilateral relations. The Cuban diplomat thanked the Minister for his permanent solidarity and recognizing the resistance of the Cuban people and the ability to achieve success in vaccines against Covid19, despite the blockade that he is subjected to.

Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs receives Cuban Ambassador.

Nigeria, October 20, 2021.- The Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama received in audience the Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria, Clara Pulido Escandell, at the headquarters of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry.

Cuba and Nigeria continue to strengthen their bilateral relations.

Nigeria, October 8, 2021.- The counsellor of the Cuban embassy in Nigeria, Pavel Bauzá Fusté, received this morning at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Abuja, Nigeria, a group of state education authorities and students Kaduna, who will recently visit Cuba to begin his medical studies.

Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria visits the Pharmaceutical Institute.

Nigeria. May 4, 2021. The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, paid a working visit to the Nigerian Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD)

During it, The Cuban Ambassador was received by Dr. Obi Adigwe, Director General of the Institute and by important representatives of that scientific branch in the West African country. On the Cuban side, the counsellor of the Cuban diplomatic mission, Pavel Bauzá Fusté, participated.
