The Embassy of Cuba in Egypt celebrated on Wednesday 24 the 66th Anniversary of the assault on the Moncada Garrison and the 93rd Anniversary of the birth of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, in an activity that highlighted the importance of these two interconnected dates and enjoyed a typical dish that identifies and unites Cubans: the caldosa.
First Edition of the International Student Day of the University of the Suez Canal
On July 22nd, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba in Egypt, Jorge Mazón Rodríguez, and the Administrative Attaché, Leyda Machado Oramas, took part in the celebration of the First Edition of the International Students’ Day in the University of the Suez Canal, in Ismailia, under the slogan “Together in Suez Canal University.”
Diplomatic representations from different countries also participated in the event, which received the University's shield from its Principal Prof. Dr. Tarek R. Rahmy.

The 6th International Meeting of Illustrators began this July 7 at the Al Amir Taz Palace in Cairo, with the exhibition of works from different latitudes such as Ukraine, Kuwait, Brazil, Russia, Alemnaia, Spain, Indonesia, China, Egypt and Cuba, among so many other countries.
Meeting with the head of the Freedom Party of Egypt
Dr. Salah Hasaballah, head of the Freedom Party of Egypt, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Tania Aguiar Fernández, at its headquarters. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Saleh Hashim; Assistant of Organizational Matters of the Party; Dr. Ahmed Idris, Secretary of the Organization; Dr. Jihan Bayoumi, Secretary of Women's Affairs; Moamen Sayed, Secretary of Political Affairs and Rami Zuhdi, Secretary of International Relations. On the Cuban side, Counselor Dennis Casares Benítez attended.
