Addis Ababa, February 25, 2025.- Cuba's ambassadors to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez, and to the African Union (AU), Lucas Domingo Hernández Polledo, participated in a briefing aimed at disseminating and promoting the main resolutions and ordinances adopted during the Second Congress of the Prosperity Party.

The right to life is in serious danger. The United Nations Charter, International Law, and multilateralism are been threatened. There attempts intending to impose economic coercion and political subversion as methods to establish international relations. This is not only immoral but also illegal.

"In 2025, the United Nations will mark its eightieth anniversary. Such a relevant occasion will be marred by a global multidimensional crisis that surpasses the response capability of the organization and weakens multilateralism. Hegemonism, coercion and belligerent, interventionist and interfering speeches are on the increase, while millions of human beings are being exposed to the effects of poverty, war and the arms race."

Addis Ababa, February 21, 2025.- The Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez, held a fruitful meeting with the Director of Public and International Relations of the Office of the Administration of the city of Addis Ababa, Ms. Meti Tamrat, to exchange on a joint project aimed at the restoration and beautification of the Ethiopia-Cuba Friendship Park.

Addis Ababa, February 20, 2025.- The Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez Álvarez, held a meeting with Ms. Lemlem Fiseha, recently appointed Director of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, reaffirmed the historic ties of brotherhood and cooperation between the two nations.
