Havana, October 13th.- Following difficult months of pandemic, a disturbing world economic crisis, and an unrelenting, intensified blockade, which have hit our people hard, Cuba is beginning to revive social life, public spaces and services, schools, tourism and other sectors of the economy.
Festivities begin for the Day of Cuban Culture in Finland
Helsinki, October 11th.- On the afternoon of Monday, October 11th, the Day of festivities in salute to Cuban culture began in the capital of the Nordic country, which will run until the 25th of the same month, in several cities of Finland.
In her opening remarks, the president of the Finnish-Cuban Friendship Association, Eeva Kokki, highlighted the historical importance of the date for Cubans and the fortune of being able to carry out some face-to-face activities, within the new post-covid normality in the country.
Baseball, cultural heritage of the Cuban nation

Cuban authorities call the people to celebrate National Defense Day
Havana, October 7th.- The exercise, in which the chiefs, leaders, and command and management bodies will participate, will culminate on November 20, with the National Defense Day.
Director of Latin America of the Finnish Foreign Ministry receives Cuban head of mission
Helsinki, October 6th.- This morning, the Latin American Director of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, Anu Vuori Kiikeri, received the acting head of mission of Cuba in this capital, Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Etcheverry, on a working visit.
