We appreciate the report of the Director General and the work of the Organization on the ground, following the adoption of resolution EBSS7.R1 on December 10.
The report illustrates in detail the situation that we observe day after day through the alarming images that reach us from the occupied Palestinian territories.

Cuba reaffirmed its commitment to the Conference on Disarmament and its position in favour of nuclear disarmament.
Geneva. 24 January 2024. -During the opening session of the Conference on Disarmament, Cuba renewed its commitment to this body, the only multilateral body devoted to the negotiation of legally binding instruments on this matter.

Yesterday, December 9, Day for the commemoration and dignity of the victims of the crime of genocide and its prevention, the world witnessed a reappearance of this scourge in the Palestinian territories.
Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the genocide that Israel, the occupying power, is committing today in Gaza.
